Its well known that iphone is sold with the agreement of AT&T network usage policy. Users are bound to use AT&T network.

Everybody knows that, in last December apple had announced that they will be providing MMS and internet tethering feature on iphone in next update. It was supposed to release soon probably in first quarter of this year. But unfortunately AT&T failed to support multimedia messaging (MMS) and tethering (using a phone as a laptop modem).

AT&T now says it will enable MMS on Sept. 25. The reason: It had to prepare its network. "The unique capabilities and high usage of the iPhone's multimedia capabilities required us to work on our network MMS architecture to carry the expected record volumes of MMS traffic and ensure an excellent experience from day one," AT&T said. "We appreciate your patience as we work toward that end."

Mean time apples customers are blaming At & T for bad service.Apple has worked very hard to make the features reach out to the customers but its At&T who is blocking their success.

While iPhone users complain about AT&T's "dropped calls, spotty service, delayed text and voice messages and glacial download speeds," according to a piece published last week in the New York Times, AT&T blames iPhone users. "Overnight we're seeing a radical shift in how people are using their phones," AT&T CTO John Donovan told the Times. "There's just no parallel for the demand." Donovan told Fortune magazine that "3G networks were not designed effectively for this kind of usage."
And, as a BusinessWeek article makes clear, there's no way AT&T will be able to meet the traffic demands of iPhone users any time in the next few years. (The article also confirms that AT&T has deliberately delayed MMS and tethering because it simply can't handle the traffic.)

It’s well known that iPhone users consume a lot more data than other smartphone users, and so all of this seems to be a case of AT&T getting more than it bargained for when it signed the exclusive deal to be the iPhone carrier in the U.S. And while you might think that it would be a nice problem to have, a number of sources have indicated to us that the iPhone’s rapid growth is what is responsible for AT&T’s network degradation over the past several months, particularly in places like San Francisco, where iPhone usage is very high.

What kind of management style do you follow? Being a best leader/manager in personal life as well as corporate life is all about choosing and implementing a correct management style.
Benevolent Management -[ Expression of kindness and altruism]
This style of management will put trust in employees and encourage them to make decisions. They will delegate to them the authority to do this (empowerment) and listen to their advice. This requires good two-way communication and often involves democratic discussion groups, which can offer useful suggestions and ideas. Managers must be willing to encourage leadership skills in subordinates.

We should seize every opportunity to give

It keeps employees informed about issues that affect their work and they share decision making and problem solving tasks with their employees. The leader is more of a coach who gets his team of employees to work together for the betterment of themselves and the organizations. Of course he or she always has the final say. It is very popular because of the interaction between management and employees. The two way communication.
This management style has a kind attitude and appears to involve employees—even if you only listen then do what you think is best.This leadership style produces high quality work and workers for extended periods of time. Employees are trusted and in return they cooperate, have a high moral, team spirit, and go above and beyond the call of duty.encourages employees to grow and be promoted within the organization and employees are recognized for their achievements.
Authority is delegated to workers which is motivating Useful when comple it behooves leaders, mangers and supervisors to coach and mentor their colleagues to improve the workplace community by supporting and being committed to one another's growth and development, by aligning organizational goals and employees' goals, by supporting peers and colleagues to become good leaders, by supporting employees to bring wholeness to their lives, by being tolerant and accepting of others' mistakes and imperfections, by listening to understand before being understood, by having a vision and passion that raises the strengths of others, and by creating an environment where coaches and mentors support leaders, mangers and supervisors to "walk the talk" of benevolent leadership.

Ultimately Remember that you are human, and so are the people working for you.

Disadvantages:
Mistakes or errors can be made if workers are not skilled or experienced enough

Autocratic management style- [ self-ruler", or "one who rules by himself]
Also known as classical management style .which the political power is held by a single, self-appointed ruler. Autocratic means

" this is how we do it and if you do not like it,
there's the door".

An autocrat, is quite literally a ruler unlimited power and absolute authority, think Adolph Hitler or Saddam Hussein, rather than Mother Theresa or Cheers bar’s Sam Malone!
In essence the autocratic management style is favored by mangers who believe that workers must be controlled to ensure maximum productivity. leaders and managers unilaterally make all the decisions, retaining all power. With this style of management employees are never consulted for their input or ideas. Rather they are simply expected to obey and carry out orders as they are given. Motivation is achieved using a punishment and reward system.

Younger employees are very resistant to this management style and are less likely to work for employers who use this style of management. Generation X workers have higher expectations from their work environment,managers like to make all the important decisions and closely supervise and control workers. Managers do not trust workers and simply give orders (one-way communication) that they expect to be obeyed.autocratic management styles have been in the closet for years, it may be time to take them out, dust them off, and determine whether they fit. In a rapidly changing industry with issues to resolve to slow eroding public confidence, benevolent autocracy might be the right management style for the times.

This style is mainly used for controlling large numbers of low skilled workers.

Disadvantages
No two-way communication so can be de-motivating
Creates “them and us” attitude between managers and workers
